Biography - Deidre Lambert-Bounds

Deidre Lambert-Bounds is the Treasurer of the Sphinx Board of Directors.
Deidre is Chief Operating Officer of Ignite Social Media, where she was recruited in 2010 by business partners Jim Tobin and Marcie Brogan. Prior to joining Ignite Social Media, Deidre spent 18 years with Ignite’s sister company, Brogan & Partners Convergence Marketing. While with Brogan & Partners, Deidre wore many, many hats—account manager, account executive, PR Director, Media Director, Digital Director to name a few. In 1998, she earned Partner designation and was elected Managing Partner in 2009. Born and raised in Detroit, Deidre has a love and passion for supporting her community. She has done this through serving on a number of boards and committees starting with the City of Detroit Image Team under Mayor Archer’s administration. In 2012, she was appointed by Governor Snyder to the Michigan’s Women’s Commission. In addition to her role with Sphinx, Deidre is very proud to serve on a steering committee for Orchard’s Children’s Services and on the Executive Committee for the Detroit Regional Chamber. She has also served on the board of directors for the Nataki Talibah School and ArtServe Michigan, as well as the planning committee for the Mackinac Policy Conference. Deidre has also worked with the Coalition on Temporary Shelters where she mentored homeless women. In her severely limited free time, Deidre dreams about traveling and working out. She lives in Southfield with her husband Bill and children Jacobe and Katie.
