NATIONAL MENTORSHIP AND AUDITION TRAINING INITIATIVE
8:30 – 9:30am
New World Symphony seeks to create a mentoring and audition training curriculum for primarily Black and Latino musicians. This curriculum needs to be adaptable for high school students seeking admission to music colleges or summer festivals, and for college students considering either post-graduate education, or professional orchestras. After a short presentation, the panel will engage in a dialogue with the participants to gain their insights and suggestions.
