2001 Junior Laureate, Melissa White, in a coaching with Isaac Stern | After the annual Sphinx Competition, Sphinx continues to work with the Laureates through the Professional Development Program. This is an intensive program, designed to help prepare our young artists for the professional world and a career in classical music. Through this program, our Laureates are provided professional performance opportunities with over 25 orchestras around the country, including the Atlanta, Detroit, Boston, Baltimore, Chicago, St. Louis, among many other orchestras.
