Foundation Donor Opportunities
The Sphinx Organization is a national non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization that is committed to building diversity in classical music through year-round programming in arts education, awareness and presentation. Sphinx works to encourage the study of and participation in classical music, with a particular emphasis on developing and recognizing classical music talent in the Black and Latino communities and among all youth.
Nationally Sphinx provides numerous educational and community outreach activities through its Sphinx Competition, Musical Encounters, Classical Connections, Sphinx Preparatory Music Institute (Sphinx Prep) and its Recital Series. Sphinx is committed to providing educational activities that reach under served populations throughout the nation. On an annual basis, its in school programming reaches over 20,000 students in over 60 schools around the country. Through its national broadcasts on PBS and National Public Radio, Sphinx reaches over 2 million individuals on an annual basis.
These activities require the generous annual support of foundations located throughout the country. The Sphinx Organization publicly recognizes foundations whose yearly gifts total $1,000 or more. As a supporter of Sphinx you will help to ensure that these critically acclaimed programs continue to develop and grow.
