Mason Kinkead
Administrative Manager, Music Advancement Program | The Juilliard School
Mason Kinkead is an accomplished arts administrator and vocalist with extensive experience in program management, community engagement, and student development within higher education. He currently serves as the Administrative Manager of the Music Advancement Program (MAP) at The Juilliard School, where he oversees the operational and educational aspects of the program serving one hundred students, forty faculty members, and twenty Juilliard college division fellows. In this role, Mason provides leadership across faculty coordination, student development, instrument management, and partnership facilitation—most notably co-managing Juilliard’s collaboration with the Sphinx Performance Academy, a national initiative that champions diversity and access in classical music education and directly managing the Combing Literacy Instruction with Musical Beginnings (CLIMB) program—an innovative arts education partnership that connected literacy and music for young learners.
Mason holds a Master of Music Business from New York University, a Bachelor of Music from McGill University, and is an alumnus of the Walnut Hill School for the Arts. A fluent English and French speaker, Mason brings a unique blend of artistry and administrative experience to his work. His skills in program coordination and cross-departmental collaboration continue to strengthen the bridge between performance and education within the arts.
